Woodworking

Wood is such a versatile medium. I can do just about anything with wood, including dabbling in a little art work. I've given away almost all of these as gifts, but keep the pictures to share with you.

Part of my arsenal of woodworking tools includes tools I bought as junk and repaired them to work again. These include my bandsaw and sliding compound mitre saw.

One of my tools, which I am blessed to care for the time being, is a 1951 Shopsmith, still in great condition. It was used to build some of these items. It is a great drill press, and a passable lathe.

The hand carving, both sculpting and relief carving is my favorite. It is a Zen-type experience. I'm happy to provide guidance and advice to anyone looking for a new hobby.
